Happy Father's Day!

He is the guy whom I had a crush first (sorry husband) and I look up to (even if Im on heels) and I will continue to do everything to make him proud.

After a month of waiting, being lonely, restless, tensed, SAD - he finally got his clearance and now ready, SO READY to start working for his new job in NESTLE!

Tita Lucette
Sweet Surprise!
Tita Lucette is here in Dubai again! She is my Dad's cousin, who visited Dubai for the 3rd time now. Her eldest, Giselle, is a flight stewardess for Emirates Airlines, but sadly I only met her once. So much for being in the same city, noh!
I really like her. Besides her being bubbly, super nice, pretty Tita that she is, she met Russell when we were still sort-of-strangers, like 3 years ago here in Dubai! That time, they were teasing us, and I was like, Please not a chance! :-)
Anyway, we took her to dinner last night at our favorite Capanna Nouva, an Italian Resto in Dubai Marine Resort and Spa!
She told us a secret on how to get pregnant! You bet, we will be trying it!:-)

Fruit Attack
I've been reading about Essential Baby lately. It's basically about the pregnancy, of course and the preparations.
One of the tips is:
EAT A HEALTHY, BALANCED DIET..
It sounds so easy, is it? but actually really hard!
I don't deny that I am sooooo not healthy. The Good Food is my enemy.
Vegetables, fruits, Seafoods... ewwwww...
But since I really, badly want to become a MOM, I'm committed in Trying to be healthy.
So Im gonna start with the basics.
EAT a FRUIT every DAY!
MMMmmm I think I can handle that.
So today, I kicked off with watermelon and cherries.. and tomorrow, I'll have apples and apples and apples... Geez!
Pray for me that I dont pass this habit!

Should I go?
Paolo, my cousin from Manila is getting married on Dec 17.
My family is attending the big event come December..which makes me seriously think and considering going home for a week.
Well, I only have a week-long vacation left this year and a free ticket so I can go till Christmas.
The only drawback is leaving my husband alone, that too for our first Christmas as married couple.
But he is very supportive, and suggests that I go!
So lets see.. May the best plan win! :-)

Sex Life
of course, I'm not going to blog about that!
What the hell are you thinking.
I think its basic 101, that if you want to get pregnant, then you should do it as the first step.
But sometimes I cant help but wonder, if that's even enough ~~ when there are still 20B mothers-wanna-be, well, including me.
I googled and read about this Fertility and Ovulation Theories.
And thanks to Iphone Application Store, I downloaded an application called AppBox Lite. This includes a feature, Pcalendar, which basically indicates the days in a calendar month, when you are most fertile and with increased probability to become pregnant.
Yes, it can be funny...BUT helpful.
I must admit that I'm really ignorant with Z.E.R.O. knowledge on this fertility and ovulation thing. Who cared about those lessons in High School and the lecture in Pre-Cana Seminar? I didn't.
But its not always too late to be studying these things, right!
So the point is, the effective timing of doing it and hitting the jackpot!
This is exciting, and I hope that this will work for us.. :-)

We are not desperate but we are hopeful, that somehow, someday, we will see our Mini Pam or Mini Russ join us rock the world.
It has been close to 5 months, since we got married, and we still await for our little one. We believe and we never question that Our Gift will come in the right time.
And when it does come, we, or especially ME; I want to be damn ready for her, or for him. And I promise, that no matter what it takes, I will make sure to make our baby healthy from Day 1 until he/she first open her eyes and embrace the world!
SO this is what this label is all about. No branding, no politics ~ simply praying for an addition to our really weird but kinda cool family. :-)
