Though we are a month late (should have paid 1st of May); unfortunately when Russ changed his job, the stupid bank is not releasing his salary and blah blah blah.. What to expect from a foreign land-bank!

Ohwell! We are only so grateful to our Dear Coordinator,who is not willing to charge us for the late payment.. Gee! are we so lucky or what!

Now, we can breathe..breathe..and smile..scratch d' head,..and sigh...
boy! still a lot of pennies to save for the Wedding and the Honeymoon...

So that you'll know, our reception is strictly a per head-count because this is not the typical buffet standing; but this is an elegant eat-all-you-can dining.

Besides that excess-per-head is too pricey;the hall that we have chosen (which is a gentlemens' club, by the way) wont look too friendly with over 150 guests.

So RSVP should be strictly imposed.

Well well..I was able to steal Jan and discuss with her what I have been writing in blogspot, and these are the comments from my coordinator..

1. On the Kids Table - she likes it and Yes! we are doing it.. *shouts YEA!
She said there is an adjoining room where we can set up their table with toys, coloring books, bubbles and puzzles.. She even offered of renting someone to keep them entertained but I don't like it for sole reason that it might turn out to be a Childrens Party. I am contented of daydreaming Chloe sitting on the kiddie chair coloring the books, on my weddingday.. ;-)

2. Pimp my cup cake - she thinks its messy; well; to take home and the crowd and all. I frowned after reading her mail, but she has a point. She does. I realized that this too, is time consuming, each taking their own sweet time blissfully putting the word Art in action. So, we might, I might settle just for the mini cakes less pimping. *sigh

3. Candy Bar - she loves it. And she mentioned that there is a candy shop in Cebu that makes all these too-sweet-looking candies. Though initially I want to buy the chocs in Dubai, but I have also asked for the Candy Lis. Hoping it woudn't be too pricey.

4. Cake Topper - a brilliant suggestion. To match the Rock & Roll theme, she suggested a bride and groom, in shades, with the groom holding a guitar, and the bride holding a mic. Yey! Just too simple, rock and perfect.

5. Church Decor - she loves my choices of clear vases, twigs, lanterns, and flowers (except for the urns). She promised me that Ill really get flattered when I walk down the aisle.. *ehem,,tears* but but but, the biggest but,. do I have a church now?? urggghhhh

I really love the chapel, but my mom said it will be too small for my guests + the choir + my 1 millio BMs.., and now finding an average-sized church is making me insane, as all are almost booked!

I can not, i do not really like the Cathedral.. so Im praying for a divine intervention here.. *sigh

Ladies' Night Out

The rush in Menchie's wedding gave me an idea how to spend the dinner with the girls, productively.

I would be throwing a party for the ladies before the wedding, not necessarily a shower, but its more of like a meet and greet thing. I dont want my bridesmaids to meet each other only on the wedding day, ugh!

So was thinking I might invite a manucure/pedicure professionals & massaeurs to give the ladies beauty refresh. What do u think?

This, for sure, will make each and everyone instant BFFs. haha

Im sooooooo back from Cebu!

It hurts to think i was only there for 2.5 days - yet, and again, seeing the angels and my family was worth the quick trip.

Everything was a rush, but happy to do 90% of what I wanted to do.
