Shocking Saturday!
The picture tells everything ey. So here's the story.
I have this bearable pain in my right wrist for months.
Bearable,so Im forgetting the pain even insist..
It worried Russ,so I did visit a Gen Med Doc last month. She gave me an ointment for the swelling which I feel helped, but recently it pains like hell.
Worried Russ insisted to visit an Ortho this time. So went to New Med and they call it DeQuervains Disease. A swelling in the tendons from thumb to wrist. They made me do exercises which kept me breathless of pain (no exaggeration!
Doc: will do Depomedrol injection and use a splint for 10 days!
Me: ok! when?
Doc: Right now.
Me: As in? Ok
They did it (no words can describe the pain when they stretched my arm!)
So now Im all plastered. The only chic thing..I have a Pink plaster haha
It has nothing to do with my ganglion cyst last year- but i feel sorry for my Righty. She is healthy as a horse, but having to experience all this ~~~

Itchy Dinner
Weekend dinner in Jimmy's Killer Prawns - Uptown Mirdiff.
Russ had the time of his life. I had too. ~ for 20 minutes or so ~ then Allergy Attack!

My Rockstar, My Hero!
When we cancelled the booking with Club Ultima, the manager charged us with a non-refundable deposit of Php 20,000 (1,666 AED)..
When he learned about it, Russel was hysterical (haha) and he was so mad he was threatening me to speak with our coordinator on that very moment, on that state..
RUSSEL.FURIOUS...YOU.HAVE.NO.IDEA.
So I volunteered to speak with January, and to our delight, she managed to have it waived...
Without Russel's erupting anger - I would have said yes and paid that deposit.

Change of Venue
One of the major changes in the plan, the Reception Venue..
We have decided for Club Ultima because of:
1. Food - Glorious & Endless Food
2. Something Different - not the typical closed door party
3. Luxury - being the highest building in Cebu, we want our guests the chance to experience it! "the so costly building"; they say!
Debut's and I do's first wedding in the lovely venue, shattered my reception dreams.
I must admit it was very pretty.. BUT it was so SMALL, so TIGHT, so NOT WHAT I WANT!
I feel like I couldn't move, couldn't dance. It just can not hold a 150-wedding party.
It was a dilemma.
I don't want to give up Club Ultima, but I couldn't let go of my wonderful wedding imagination either~~ the kid's corner, the entrance dance, the candy bar and the till-morning-dancing.
I have to let go..
We picked alternative venues; coordinator worked immediately and luckily, we still have an open ballroom in Waterfront Hotel. This is my top choice (after Club Ultima) as this is closer to our church. It must have been our lucky day, or somehow, maybe, Waterfront is really meant for us~~
* Mediterrean Ballroom, Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Lahug Cebu City
Well. We still have a Rck n Roll Wedding. That's what matters ey!

I lost my glass slippers!
and cant stop sobbing (without tears, but heart is broken)..
I saw a very cute, elegant, all pink, Nine West Stilleto last week.
We came back to Outlet Mall today, only to find out that SHE is sold Out!
I almost collapsed!
Russ took me to the closest NW shop, but unfortunately SHE was a limited edition..

Ring O Finger!
Life is Sweet!
We bought our wedding rings last Friday. (9th-Sept)
Its a very simple 18-carat gold ring.
We are at tight budget stretch - so settled for a very "US" type, but promised each other that we will get new ones with diamonds and all after 2 years (that if we are still together haha)
(*a not so great shot* we are bringing these back to the jeweller this week for the engravement)
This and my Engagement ring, Im soo ready to wear these bad boys forever..

Yesterday we went to pay a whooping AED 4,200 (50,400 Pesos)for my ticket..
and Russ' for AED 3,200 (38,400 Pesos)..
It did hurt our pockets. but we our both thrilled to have finally gotten our confirmed seats..

Iftar Dinner
Colleagues from Daikin Mcquay, together with the husband, BF & GF, friends - met out for IFTAR dinner in Zabeel Park.
Great food was prepared by Arlyn.

Even if it was a non-imaginable super humid night, We still had good fun!

Countdown: 120 Days to Go
or 4 months to go! Can you believe that?
Well,I really feel bad about how the preparations have turned out to be.
There were a lot of changes, and worst part is, we couldn't even complete our requirements for the Marriage License! What over-acting embassies we have.
I must say both Philippine and Indian Embassies..
This opted me to remain silent! Solitude! Soul Searching!
I don't know why and how things can go so wrong.
But when I think about it,maybe its meant to happen.
Its just part of God's plan, and definitely I'm convinced by that.
So here I am, back where I should be!
To vent the woos and fun of wedding preparation.

"My hair is definitely UP for the ceremony and DOWN for the reception."
We went to Dragonmart to pick up these lovely pins for the wedding hairstyle.
I chose 2 designs.
I love the elegance of the flower-style with pearl. However it does not have much glitter,. I am not much into glittery stuff but admit it, it will definitely be something when I march. So I also picked up the 7-circle-glittery thingy to serve the purpose.
Note: The Filipina sales girl was crying (war mode with BF). I gave her an advise like "He is not the only guy in the world, leave him", in return she gave me a 20-dirham discount. IMm too friendly to resist ey.. ;-)
